Karen Lederer (New York, NY) received her BFA in Printmaking and Drawing from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008 and an MFA in Printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. She was a SIP Award recipient from the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop Program, an artist in residence at the Keyholder Program at the Lower East Side Printshop, and a studio recipient from the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program. Her work has recently been featured in exhibitions at Tennis Elbow, New York (solo); The Flinn Gallery, Connecticut; Anya Tish Gallery, Houston; Grant Wahlquist Gallery, Portland, Maine (solo); Field Projects, New York (solo); Danese/Corey, New York; The Wythe Hotel, New York; and Cuevas Tilleard, New York. Her work has been written about in The Boston Globe, It's Nice That, Brooklyn Magazine, ArtFile Magazine, Arte Fuse, New American Paintings, and Maake Magazine. She sells a limited edition of prints through Exhibition A. She teaches workshops at Anderson Ranch, Lower East Side Printshop, and Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
